NITTE Application Process & requirements :

For B.E. /B.Tech /AMIE courses :
Here are a number of points regarding the NMIT reservation and allotment of seats in various ways.
Admissions to BTech programs at NMIT are done via the following process:
- Through CET Karnataka (45% of the total seats)
- Through COMED-K (30% of the total seats)
- Through Mgt Quota (25% of the total seats)
- For foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries (AICTE has approved 15% extra seats)
- Relaxation in the eligibility criteria for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category ( 5% of marks)
For ME / M.Tech / other PG courses :
NMIT, at the PG level, offers various specializations in Master of Technology (M.Tech) for a duration of two years.
Some important points regarding admission in M.Tech (NMIT) are given below :
- Candidates need to appear in The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination in order to take admissions in M.Tech courses.
- Candidates can visit the official website of GATE fill the application form.
- For the SC/ST students, a 5% marks relaxation scheme is offered by the institute.
For MCA & MBA course :
The institute has two additional courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) with a span period of two years and three years respectively.
- Admission for MBA and MCA is done through a few Entrance tests such as CET, COMED-K, PGCET, GATE, GMAT, and others.
For Ph.D. / Doctoral programmes :
This research-based program popularly called the Doctoral of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is offered by the college under various specializations.

The NMIT college has an active and professional placements cell. Companies across the globe, visit the college for placements, and mass recruiters also visit to recruit students. About 70% of the students get ‘more than the expectations’ placement offers. Although the placement rate has been steady for years, the college aims to provide quality education and exquisite practical understanding.

NITTE Cut-off 2024 :
Every year NMIT Bangalore admissions are conducted for the students on the basis of cut-off declared by the college itself.
The cut-off for B.E. courses varies for each specialization based on the performance of students in the KCET and COMED-K entrance tests.
