KCG College of Technology, established in 1998 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu is affiliated to Anna University. The college affords twelve undergraduate (UG) and four postgraduate (PG) programs. Out of the twelve colleges, five UG programs – Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT), and Mechanical Engineering (ME) – is permitted by means of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

The college has been accorded recognition as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) through the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (DSIR). The university is an affiliated education center of the Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) with the aid of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India. Admission for ME :

Candidates seeking admission in the ME program must hold a bachelor’s degree in BTech/ BE/ BSc/ MCA/ MSc in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for candidates belonging to the reserved category).

Candidates must qualify TANCET or GATE in order to secure a seat in the College. Candidates with a valid GATE score are preferred for admissions.
