The Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran was founded in 2001 as one of the premier educational institutions. It comprises eight constituent colleges that deliver over 118 student batches of many technical programs and other vocational courses. CGC is accredited by the All India Technical Education Council (AICTE) and the National Teacher Education Council (NCTE) and provides a range of flagship programs, including MTech, BTech, MBA, and MCA.

The Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, raised the Aspiring Minds National Employability Award in 2020 and the WIEF, Start-Up India & IALM Excellence in Creativity & Research in 2019. It was also ranked in the Times Private Engineering Institute 2018 rankings among the top 50 institutions.

Candidates seeking entry to different programs offered by the Chandigarh Group of Colleges must comply with the requirements laid down. Since this institute has several divisions, eligibility for various courses is various, as listed below:

  • BTech: Admission to this course is offered to Punjab domicile candidates on the basis of the JEE Main 2020 score; for applicants from other states, admission is given on the basis of Class 12 scores followed by PTU counseling.
  • BPharm: Applicants are expected to clear JEE Main 2020 or PTU CET 2020 with a valid admission score for this course.
  • BTech (LE), BSc, BBA, BCA, BHMCT, and BTTM: Admissions are granted on the basis of merit in all these courses, followed by PTU consultation.
