  • A further collection of twelve questions can be asked to the applicants who have effectively completed the paper (trying to address all 150 queries).
  • In subjects such as logical reasoning, English, physics, chemistry, maths, and biology, BITSAT is intended to evaluate the candidate’s depth of knowledge, and analytical, and reasoning capacity.
  • The style of labeling is identical to the CAT test. +3 marks will be awarded for each correct reply and -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
  • The paper comprises 4 pages, each focused on physics, chemistry, biology/mathematics, and English. No sectional deadline is set for BITSAT, unlike the CAT examination.
  • The engineering and pharmaceutical program curriculum varies. The 11th and 12th-grade NCERT syllabi are suitable. Nonetheless, both records equal 450 points.
  • For people, INR 3300 is the registration fee and for women, INR 2800. The charging arrangement extends to all students irrespective of sex.

BITSAT 2024-2025 Exam Pattern

The query paper of BITSAT includes only questions of the MCQ. Candidates will pose 150 questions, each with 3 points. The document consists of 450 markers and all 150 queries are replied to by candidates before the period has expired to ask 12 more queries. Candidates who have opted to ask additional questions can not modify their prior answers. Every problem has four options, from which only one alternative may be selected. It is desirable that no questions are actually conjectured since an inaccurate answer -1 is removed from the sum.

Section Wise Break Up Of Subjects

The paper has four sections. Like CAT, for every nominee, there is no sectional time limit to break the period however they wish. The foregoing are foregoing:

Part 1 (Chemistry)

Part 2 (Physics)

Part 3 (Mathematical or Biology)

Part 4 (English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning)

Sectional Break Up Of Marks

Name Of The Paper Number Of Questions Total Marks

Chemistry 40 120
Mathematics or Biology 45 each 135
English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning 15 + 10 (25) 45 + 30(75)

BITSAT Preparation Tips

Because the textbook for BitaT comes from books class 11 and 12, it should not be too challenging to break this test. The best plan will do wonders with commitment and execution. In addition to learning the books you like, here are other things you should do best.

  • Manage the time wisely – Valid with all tests, this is especially beneficial with students who take the BITSAT test as the paper is extremely long. As the test does not assign a span of sectional time, seek to solve the papers as you do the review.
  • Keep in mind the marking scheme – As you are already aware of the marking pattern, no questions on the basis of simple guesswork are advisable because you are losing markings. As you plan, commit ample time to parts in which you are not solid. Begin with the questions you find easiest in the examination hall and leave for later on the more difficult ones.
  • Update then-Holding in place for review for at least 2 months. Hold on for mock practice, then aim with the simpler assessments before moving on to the more complex test sequence slowly.
  • Prepare the questions you want – The question paper has been modeled to allow a good student to answer all questions in a given schedule, according to the BITSAT officials. Try this when planning, taking into consideration certain goals.
