JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU), Mysore is a private university and was established in 1963. It has a huge campus of around 120 Acres and has also been accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The university has 17 Departments in total, accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

There are over 5500 students currently receiving education from the university from over 275 faculty. The college receives over 1000 placement offers every year.

JSS Science and Technology University, Mysore Admission Process :

The JSS Science and Technology University, Mysore provides admissions in various specializations of B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech programs.

Students must have passed the Diploma Test from an AICTE approved institution for Lateral Admission to Second Year BE; with at least 50 percent aggregate (45 percent in the case of candidates belonging to a reserved category) in the relevant Engineering / Technology branch.

The university also offers PG Diploma in QA and QC. Students can also look for courses such as BCA, BSc in Animation and Visual Effects, and BSc (Hons) in Economics.

Candidates can apply for admission through the online application forms available on the official portal of the college.

Admission to various streams is made via entrance based and merit-based tests. COMED-K/CET, PGCET/GATE/KMAT are to name a few.

The admission is generally made through online mode into the UG, PG, and Research programs.

Steps to apply for the UG & PG programs online :

For UG programs :

Students need qualifying scores in the COMED-K/CET
Candidates must register themselves on the online website of the college.
Scanned copies of the required documents must be submitted.
Candidates are allotted seats based on the scores obtained in the above-mentioned examination.
The final admission is confirmed after the submission and verification of documents and paying the fees.

For PG programs:

Candidates with a valid score in the following exams: PGCET/GATE/KMAT can apply.
50% of Government Quota seats are allotted through PGCET. The rest is filled based on scores obtained in the GATE exam for the M.Tech course and the KMAT exam for the MBA course.
Candidates can fill an online application form for admission to the respective PG courses.
Scanned copies must be uploaded on the basis of the given guidelines followed by the payment of fees.
