STES Pune is also known as The Sinhgad Technical Education Society is a group of schools operating primarily in the Pune region of India. It offers training in the fields of engineering, management, pharmacy, architecture, the science of health, and commerce. The society also runs many schools. In 1993, STES Pune was created by Prof. M. N. Navale in response to the rising educational requirements in the rapidly growing industry following the Indian government’s Open Business Strategy Policy.

Sinhgad Technical Education Society has 12 campuses across 500 acres of campus spread across Pune. There are 85 colleges and 15 schools on these twelve campuses. STES hires approximately 7500 + employees.

History
- STES Pune was set up by Prof. M. N. Navale in August 1993. It began with Sou ‘s formation. Recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Venutai Chavan Polytechnic Institute in the field of Engineering offers 3-year full-time Diploma courses in Engineering. STES Pune has been constantly expanding from then on.
- In 1994-95, Pune University’s Post Graduation MBA course began with just 90 students. And today, in various institutes under STES Pune there are 3000 students taking advantage of this course.
- STES Pune Punefounded the Engineering College in 1996-97.
- The Sinhgad College of Architecture and the Sinhgad College of Pharmacy were launched in 2000-2001.
- Sinhgad College Of Science, Vadgaon(Bk) was established with B.Sc (Computer Science) in 2001-2002 with an intake of 80 students. And Jr. and Sr. added, Sinhgad College of Arts and Commerce, Narhe Technical Campus, started college studies in the 2003-2004 academic year.
- In 2003-2004, Sinhgad Law College was founded with LL.B and BA.LL.B courses at Ambegaon(Bk) Campus, Pune.
