The Dharma Naidu Educational and Charitable Trust have founded the S.A. Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu in 1998-99. The college is an autonomous entity. The college is accredited by NBA and NAAC with an ‘A’ degree and is associated with the Anna University.
The College offers 6 undergraduate courses in engineering, 4 postgraduate courses in engineering, a master’s degree in computer applications, and a master’s degree in business administration. The annual number of students in all courses is 1110.
For admissions to the B.E course, an applicant must apply for the TNEA exam followed by a counseling phase. In the case of PG courses M.E, MBA, and MCA, admissions are made on the basis of score in the TANCET test.
Application forms must be submitted electronically. The institute also has a good placement cell in which some of the top recruiters, such as Wipro, Infosys, EY, TCS, Sutherland, QSpider, Capgemini, Intel, etc., have participated in the placement process.

Selection Criteria
