National Academy of Sports Management (NASM)

Mumbai is a member of the National Academy Group (which was conceptualized in 2000) of the National Academy of Sports Management (NASM). Mumbai, Maharashtra, is situated. With the goal of producing academically, ethically, and professionally sound sports executives and managers, NASM was created.

NASM is the first institution in India to grant Sports Management undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. Admissions to these courses at NASM Mumbai are conducted every year.

At the academy, a proper mix of experience and practical knowledge is given. The program is futuristic and aims to create highly qualified people capable of being effective entrepreneurs. At various mega-events such as Sports For All Championship, Barclays Premier League, Pro Kabaddi League, ICC World Cup Cricket, Reliance Foundation Youth Sports, etc., the academy offers training. NASM has a Khelo India 2019 agreement.

Bachelor’s Degree (Sports Management) It is a full-time course lasting three years.

Master’s Degree (Sports Management) It is a full-time course lasting three years. Eligibility- The applicant needs to have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in either stream.

Admission into BMS :

Admission into MSM :

NASM is India’s only institution to offer a recognized MSM degree in Sports Management. A person with an MSM degree in Sports Management would achieve the highest level of Sports Management expertise and thus have the most lucrative and managerial opportunities available to him in various sectors such as Sports Marketing, Sports Media, Sports Apparel & Merchandising, etc.

Via high-profile guest speakers, case studies, use of media, and expected experiential learning experiences in the area, there is a strong focus on linking theory to the industry’s activities.

The program will allow students to explore a variety of diverse career opportunities available in the public, non-profit, and commercial sectors of the Indian sports industry.

MSM learners are trained for positions in management, marketing, public relations, communications, management of facilities and activities, sales, program creation, and management of human resources.

Application process :

Admission into various courses at NASM can be done by filling up the application forms that are available online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee.

Steps for Online application :

Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling in the mandatory information in the admission tab.
Fill out the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available.
This is followed by submitting the application form.

Steps for offline application :

For applying offline, the candidate needs to visit the college Admission Counsellor to fill out the form, submit original documents, and pay the fee.

NASM Placements :

NASM’s training and placement team provides its students with opportunities to secure internships and full-time work and also encourages students to improve their core skills and communication skills. In addition to receiving practical instruction, students were also encouraged to participate in different national and international events. Through the ON-Campus Recruitment Programme, students may achieve meaningful jobs.

Companies such as Imperial International Sports Academy, Quiddo Sports, Western India Football Association, Go Sports Foundation, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, Bayside Sports, Meraki Sport, and Entertainment Pvt Ltd, etc., have created internship and placement opportunities.

NASM Cut-off :

Candidates are given admission to various UG & PG courses offered at the NASM on the basis of merit in the required field of qualification.

Cut-offs are released professionally by the college authority category-wise.

The reservation criteria issued by the Government of India and the state are also kept in mind. Other factors include :

The previous year’s performance.

The candidates that meet the criteria are only preferred for admission.
