JCECE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate has to check the eligibility criteria before applying for any course. If they meet eligibility criteria they are eligible and can fill their form.

Age limit

Those who apply to obtain B.E / B. Tech doesn’t need to consider age as there’s no age limit for that.
Anyone who applies for Forestry at B.Sc Agriculture & B.Sc must have completed 17 years. Nevertheless, as of Jul 2020, the maximum legal age is 22 years. There is a 3 year age relaxation for candidates who belong to the group SC and ST.
Anyone who applies for B.V.Sc & A.H must be 17 years of age at the time of admission or age as of or after 31 December of the admission year.

Educational Qualification

While applying for a B.E / B.Tech Course the applicant must have passed 12th or I.Sc or other similar PCM tests. A candidate must also have earned 45 percent marks and 40 percent for those belonging to the SC and ST groups.
Where applications for B.E / B. Tech Course B.Sc Agriculture & B.Sc Forestry Course must then have passed 12th or I.Sc or other similar tests. The subjects covered are Maths / Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
If you apply for a B.V.Sc & A.H course, you must have passed the 12th or I.Sc or some equivalent exam. The subjects needed to include Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English and obtained scores of 50 percent. For candidates in the SC and ST categories, however, 40 percent of marks is compulsory.
When applying for a BHMS course, 10 + 2 / I.Sc or some similar examination with PCB subjects is required.
