The average monthly stipend was INR 2.59 lakhs, while the median monthly salary was INR 2 lakhs. Students worked primarily in finance and consulting.

One hundred ninety-two companies made 640 offers to 479 students during the 2022 placement drive, with the average CTC standing at INR 34.2 LPA and the median CTC standing at INR 31 LPA. The consulting domain received the most significant number of offers. The placement drive included top recruiters such as Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, and many others. One hundred seventy-two recruiters made 520 job offers to 467 students during the 2021 placement drive.

During IIM Calcutta MBA Placements 2022, the top 5% average salary was INR 64.99 LPA, the top 10% average salary was INR 57.40 LPA, the top 15% average salary was INR 54.43 LPA, the top 20% average salary was INR 51.31 LPA, the top 25% average salary was INR 48.39 LPA, and the top 50% average salary was INR 41.5 LPA.
