GIETEE 2024 examination provides admissions to various Engineering courses (B.Tech/M.Tech). Candidates can apply either online or offline.

The last date for applying is March 30, 2024.

What is GIETEE 2024

GIETEE 2024 or Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology Entrance Examination is conducted by the GIET University. The entrance exam offers engineering programs. Recently the University has started research programs also.

GIETEE 2024 Application and Registration Process

The application form for GIETEE can be filled in both online and offline modes. For online applications willing visit the official website. Application filled in offline mode, candidates have to send the hard copy to the University.

Instructions to fill GIETEE 2024 application form

Options given in the online/offline application form can not be edited/corrected at any stage after filling it.
Candidates must take a photocopy of the application form for future references.
Read all the instructions carefully before filling the Application Form.
Use a black ball-point pen to write the codes in the boxes and a pencil to shade the alphabet/Numeral/circle in the offline application form.
Affix a good quality colored photograph of the candidate in the space provided in the offline application form. It should be recently taken. (Do not attest the photograph).
Write your complete postal address, to which communication is to be sent, clearly (in both online and offline application forms).
Enter the correct PINCODE.
Indicate the correct STD code and Phone Number (in both online and offline application forms).
Mention your E-Mail ID & Mobile number in both online and (in the offline application forms).
Sign in the space provided.
The parent/Guardian’s signature should be there in the declaration form (offline application form).
Do not use any pins or stapler pins in the offline application form.
Indicate whether you require hostel accommodation or not in both online and offline application forms.
Enter the correct Test City Code on the envelope provided for the offline application form.
Take a photocopy of your offline application form.
Note down the application number for all future references.

Returning the completed application form hard copy

The completed application should be sent either by Registered Post or by Speed Post in the self-addressed envelope provided by GIET. The application form has to reach the office on or before March 30, 2024. Late submission is not appreciated. Before dispatching the application form make sure that you have filled in the correct Test City, Subject, and tick the checklist on the envelope provided. There is no chance for correction.

GIETEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

As per GIET University, NIOS certificates are also eligible for applying to the entrance examination. At the time of admission, those candidates have submitted their migration cum transfer certificate.

Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, and General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level are also eligible.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination

Candidates must have passed 12^th class examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects for B.Tech programs.
For B.Tech in Biotechnology, program candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
Every candidate irrespective of their category should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology together.

Age Limit

Candidate should have born on or after 1 July 1997. The 10^th certificate is conferred as the authentic certificate proof of Date of Birth. At the time of counseling, candidates should produce this 10^th class certificate (original and copy) otherwise will be considered as disqualified.
For UG courses candidates must have completed the age 17 on or before 1 July 2024.

GIETEE 2024 Result

GIETEE 2024 result will be published as a merit list by the GIET University. The merit list is prepared based on the total marks obtained in the entrance exam by the candidate. The rank will be sent as SMS to the registered mobile number.

The result can be downloaded from the official website of GIET University at the time.

The selected candidates will be required to submit a Demand Draft of ₹25000 in favor of GIET University, payable at Gunupur, on the confirmation of seat and acceptance of branch allotted. This includes ₹15000 (Inclusive of GST) counseling process fee. [This counseling process fee is non-refundable but will be adjusted in the tuition fees once the candidate joins the University].
