What is DYPCET 2024?

DY Patil University – School of Management conducts a DYPCET popular entrance exam for admission to its various MBA / PGDM programmes. DYPCET is held every year in July / August.

The Management Institute shall offer an MBA through DYPCET several programmes.

DY Patil University – School of Management also provides part-time management (three years). For the part-time programme, the applicant must have 2 years of supervisory work experience.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be a graduate of any discipline of a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or equivalent.

Applicants opting for an MBA in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Health & Hospital, and Pharmaceutical Industry must have completed graduation with a 50 per cent mark from a recognized university or equivalent, but preference will be given to candidates from BSc, BTech, BPharm, MBBS, BHMS, BUMS, BAMS, BDS, B Nursing or equivalent.

Candidates are also required to apply in their final year of graduation. Their acceptance will remain conditional until the graduation certificate or mark sheet has been submitted.

For a part-time MBA programme, the applicant must have a graduation degree and 2 years of work experience.

Reservation of 5 per cent marks in graduation is given for reserved category students.

 Admission Procedure

DYPCET 2024 comprises five phases of application, admission card, entrance test, declaration of results and group discussion and personal interview.

Step 1: Application form for DYPCET 2024

The application form for DYPCET 2024 can be downloaded online as well as offline for payment of ₹ 2000. The MBA Admission 2024 prospectus is currently available on the official website. Applicants must apply the forms before the due date in order to be able to participate in the entrance exam.

Step 2: DYPCET 2024 Admission Card

Upon successful submission of the application form, each candidate will receive the DYPCET Admission Card. This admission card will be made available for download from the official website on a scheduled date. The Admission Card is a required document to be submitted to the Exam Hall.

Step 3: DYPECT 2024

The DYPCET 2024 exam will take place in April / May 2024 (tentatively). The exam will include multiple-choice questions from Quantitative Skill, Logical Reasoning and English Language.

Step 4: DYPCET 2024 Results

The DYPCET 2024 result will be published online on the official website. Test users can check their scores and download their scorecards from the official website using their login IDs or application number.

Step 5: GD / PI for DYPCET 2024

After the declaration of results, a merit list will be drawn up for the GD / PI round. Applicants chosen for this round will have to be present in person. Admission will be given to active candidates in this round.

 Exam Pattern

The DYPCET 2024 exam will include multiple-choice questions from Quantitative Skill, Data Interpretation and English Language.

The DYPCET question paper will be divided into these parts and each question will have four choices to select the correct answer from. Below are some points relevant to the DYPCET test pattern and the test day guidelines.

  • Get to the Exam Centre at least an hour before
  • Learn the guidelines for the exam thoroughly
  • Do not overwrite or make cut marks in the reply booklet.
  • Do not make rough calculations in the response booklet
  • Try to solve all the questions 10 minutes before time and revise your answers thoroughly before you submit your article.
  • Do not bring laptops, calculators or other electronic devices as prohibited within the examination room.

DYPCET 2024 Results

The results of DYPCET 2024 will be released on the date announced at the scheduled entry. After the results have been announced, the candidates will be able to download their scorecards from the official website. The applicant will be required to follow the steps given below to download the scorecard.

  • Visit the website of DY Patil University – School of Management
  • Click on the results of DYPCET 2024
  • Enter the login details / the submission number
  • Scorecard will be shown on the screen

Download the scorecard and save it

Each scorecard will contain the name of the candidate, the roll number, the sectional and the total scores. Applicants are advised to download their scorecards as soon as they are released, as they will only be available for download for a limited period of time. The authorities would not obtain a submission for a scorecard after the last date.

A merit list will be published along with the declaration of result.
