DSAT 2024: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

50 years of advancement in training, DSI, Bengaluru has begun the Dayananda Sagar University, made by an Act of the Karnataka State Legislature and the Government of Karnataka and endorsed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. DCU conducts the Dayananda Sagar Admission Test to fill in seats for different UG and PG courses offered at different part establishments of the University.

The Dayananda Sagar Admission Test (DSAT) is a qualification test administered by the University of Dayananda Sagar. More than 78 cities across India will carry DSAT. The test can be carried out both in online and offline mode. An applicant can apply for admission to Engineering through CET, DSAT, COMEDK, and UNIGAUGE, or categories of NRI / foreign students. Scores DSAT 2020 are required for Pharmacy and Management Programs.

DSAT 2024 Eligibility criteria

For Undergraduates

B.Tech(Bachelor of Technology)

  • Applicants probably went in PUC/CBSE/ICSE/10+2 or identical from any perceived Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as obligatory subjects.

PharmD

  • Applicants have to have undergone PUC 10 + 2 or some other similar test.
  • As mandatory subjects, applicants must have Physics and Chemistry in 10 + 2 or equivalent to either Biology or Math.

For Post Graduates

M.Tech(Master Of Technology)

A BE / BTech degree with an aggregate of at least 50 percent of marks in the respective sector.

MBA (Master Of Business Administration)

  • Applicants must have graduated from a recognized institution with a bachelor’s degree lasting at least three years
  • Candidates are also eligible to apply for DSAT 2024 in the last year of their graduation
  • The competitors will have passed the recommended qualifying assessments with at the very least 50% of the MARKS in the total (45% if there should be an occurrence of up-and-comer having a place with SC/ST and OBC classification) of the considerable number of long stretches of the degree assessments.

DSAT 2024 Application Form

Applicants wishing to apply should request their application forms for DSAT 2024 in both online and offline mode. Registrations need to be closed 3 days prior to each exam date.

Steps for an online application form

  • Visit the Official DSAT 2024 website https://www.dsu.edu.in/admission
  • Enroll with a correct email address and mobile phone number
  • Tap on “Complete Form for Online Download”
  • Please fill in the necessary credentials.
  • Photo upload and signature in jpg format
  • Process application fee payment using the electronic form
  • The applicants can access the application form filled out after successful payment.
  • Print Application form for future use

Steps for an offline application form

Aspirants who wish to process their applications in offline mode can visit the official website https://www.dsu.edu.in/admission and download the request form.

  • Applicants are required to follow the above-mentioned online process and take a printout out of the form.
  • The print application form will be submitted along with the University fees.
  • DSAT 2020 Aspirants should note that they should only fill out the application forms in the given time.

Note: Application fee should be Rs 1000/- which should be pay online as well as offline from both modes.

DSAT 2024 Admit Card

Candidates who apply successfully for the admission exam will be given admit cards. Usually, the officials release the admit cards at least a week before the day of the entrance exam. It should be remembered that the admit card is an essential paper to be taken to the testing center. Candidates who do not have admit cards will not appear in the entry test.

Test-takers can access the admit cards online through the University’s website. To access the admit card, applicants must follow the steps set out below:

  • Visit Dayananda Sagar University official website
  • Click on ‘Link to Admit Card’
  • The applicant will be redirected to a new tab where login credentials must be filled in
  • Admit card comes up on the screen
  • Take an admit card printout

DSAT 2024 Result

Generally, the examination result is announced within a month from the exam date. The authorities post the results of the exam online, and test-takers can access their scorecards by accessing the official website of the University.

To access the scorecard, applicants must follow the steps indicated below:

  • View their official website
  • Find the ‘Examination’ button on your homepage and click on the same
  • Tap on the Result tab and the course
  • Enter and submit USN / Roll Number
  • The scorecard shows up on the screen
  • Download the Card
  • Save it and take a printout for further use

DSAT 2024 Counseling

Once the entrance test is over and the examination result is announced, shortlisted candidates must appear for the counseling. It should be noted that candidates for the counseling round need to be present in person. Admission shall be denied in the condition that a candidate refuses to show for counseling physically.

Based on the scores obtained during the entry test, the authorities will prepare a merit list of eligible candidates.

For Post Graduates

  • E-Hall ticket (only for online admission test courses)
  • Certificate of degree or Provisional pass issued by the Board / University
  • Marks test registration cards (all semesters/years)
  • Certificate of conduct and character to be received on head/pad of the College letter

DSAT 2024 Cut off

The cut-off list will be published on the official web site after the result has been posted. The cut-off list will be published, based on category and course. Cutting off points may help assess their rank in the application process.
