About University – 

Bangalore University is affiliated with Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS), which is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. The Samagra Sikshana Samithi Trust sponsors ABBS, which has more than 1800 students and six international collaborations. The organisation is a business school that offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in the fields of management, the arts, information technology, commerce, and science.

A business school in India is called Acharya Bangalore B School (ABBS). Founded in 2008 by Dr. B. Vijaypal Reddy, who is also the institution’s current chairman, the institute is based in Bengaluru. The privately owned ABBS is associated with Bangalore University. University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education have both approved and accredited the institution. A number of foreign universities, including Daito Bunka University, Wenzhou University, St. Mary’s University, Sunway University, and Rennes School of Business, have academic partnerships with ABBS. The organisation has also advanced signature status with the project The Principles for Responsible Management Education, which is recognised by the UN (PRME).

The college offers instruction in business, computer science, mass communication, and management. The school’s student to instructor ratio is 15 to 1. The government of Karnataka as well as the Ministry of Human Resource Development have both recognised Acharya Bangalore B School, which has a permanent connection with Bangalore University. The institution has a second cycle CGPA of 3.23/4.0 and is certified with Grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Toastmaster Club at ABBS – 

The Toastmaster Club at ABBS fosters communication and growth between instructors and students. ABBS toast their accomplishments and skills. By planning and running meetings, Toastmaster members hone their leadership abilities. Students can learn and prepare for the jobs they want to pursue through club leadership roles and leadership development programmes. The Toastmasters get speaking experience by speaking, and leadership experience by leading.

The ABBS students created the close-knit collegiate club known as the TOASTMASTERS CLUB. Students support and encourage one another while learning skills beyond leadership and communication in this positive environment.

Counseling Cell – 

The ABBS ensures a welcoming environment for students. The “Counselling and Grievance Redressal Cell” was established as part of their ongoing efforts to foster a positive environment. This cell is made up of knowledgeable and experienced faculty who handle non-academic complaints while mentors handle academic issues.

ABBS remarkable placement record, which has seen more than 80% of MBA students hired at the completion of their two-year programme and the remaining students often placed by convocation, attests to the success of their programmes.

Admission –

  • Candidates for MBA programmes must have passed the MAT, KMAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, or any other national entrance exam that is an equivalent.
  • Candidates’ performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds will determine if they are admitted in the end.
