Transportation Services

The Institute supplies the Pick & Drop bus service. If students travel from Chandigarh, Mohali / Kharar, and Zirakpur, it is mandatory to use the bus service.

Under the community insurance policy, all HCMI students are covered. Through this, we express our concern for our students’ safety & health. Even the student’s earning parents are insured to guarantee the course completion in the case of any eventuality for mates.

Hostel / Accommodation

For boys and girls, the institute has separate boarding and lodging facilities. In Chandigarh & Derabassi, these facilities are open. The seat distribution is on the basis of first-come-first-serve. For each person, essential furniture is given, such as a bed, mattress, study table, chair, and cupboard. Students should arrange their own standard of accommodation as well.

Internship & Training

Hotel and Catering Management Institute actively encourage its students to extend their experience and perspective. It is mandatory for students to take an internship from time to time during their course, as needed. For 3-6 months, every student goes for industrial training. The participants expand their horizons by engaging in live projects, workshops, business presentations, study trips, and business visits.

In engaging with the students, the training managers from different hospitality companies are actively involved. They also provide guidance and motivation to ensure that the available human resources are of good quality and appropriate to the needs of the industry.

We make sure that industrial and field visits are aimed at introducing all facets and dimensions of the industry to students. The participants expand their horizons by engaging in live projects, workshops, business presentations, study trips, and business visits.

In engaging with the Hotel and Catering Management Institute students, the training managers from different hospitality companies are actively involved. They also provide guidance and motivation to ensure that the available human resources are of good quality and appropriate to the needs of the industry.

Internships Internationally:

Hotel and Catering Management Institute have ties to leading hotels and are developing our relationship with the industry. We have also teamed up with foreign chains to provide students with internships.
