Manav Rachna University (MRU) is a leading state-owned private university (founded by Haryana State Legislature Act No. 26 of 2014 and Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956) that provides globally relevant education. The university grew from the Manav Rachna College of Engineering (MRCE), founded in 2004. It is a founding member of the prestigious “College Board’s Indian Global Higher Education Alliance.”
Manav Rachna University has received a QS I-GAUGE rating and an overall DIAMOND rating. Overview of the Manav Rachna University
Manav Rachna University (MRU), Faridabad, is ranked 174th in engineering and 151-200th in university by the MHRD’s NIRF India Rankings 2020. Students at MRU Faridabad receive 100% placement assistance. More than 100 companies participated in the university’s placement drive, offering various roles to students with competitive pay packages. The highest annual salary package is INR 23 LPA. MRU Faridabad provides a wide range of UG and PG courses in engineering and technology, law, education, business studies, and applied sciences.
Manav Rachna University Ph.D. admissions will open in December 2020. The application period for the Ph.D. program has begun. Apply Now Admission to the program will be based on merit demonstrated in the university’s entrance exam and interview. Candidates who have previously qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE, or M.Phil. will be exempt from the written test. Cafeterias:
Canteens abound on the Manav Rachna campus, catering to students’ diverse tastes. These hangout spots serve delectable food in a clean environment. In a comfortable and vibrant ambiance, the excellent multi-cuisine menus range from Indian to Continental and Chinese.
Hostel:
The university has four hostels with a total capacity of 805 seats for both sexes. The hostel has a dedicated power backup via generators and 24-hour internet access in the rooms via WI-FI. It also has a well-managed and sanitary mess where students’ nutritional needs and tastes are met with RO drinking water.
Transportation:
The university provides transportation facilities to students. It has a fleet of luxury A/C buses to transport students in Delhi-NCR, covering various locations in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ballabgarh, and Palwal. MREI buses are outfitted with all necessary safety features such as a fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, GPS, etc.
