How to check the CAT  2023 Result?

Candidates will have to visit the official CAT website i.e. iimcat.ac.in to review their CAT 2023 results. The step-by-step method of downloading the CAT 2023 result  IIM that can be pursued by candidates is given below—

Step 2: On the CAT Results tab, press the Login Info tab.

Step 3: Press the Download page for the IIM CAT 2023 Result Score Card.

After confirming the outcome of the CAT 2023 result, applicants must ensure that they have downloaded it and printed it for future reference. Information will also be sent to the registered cell phone by IIM Indore via SMS after the CAT 2023 result is announced. FAQs

Q: Can I receive via SMS my CAT 2023 result?

A: Each CAT 2023 candidate will be informed of the CAT 2023 result by SMS on their registered cell phone number, but the CAT scores will not be disclosed by the SMS.

Q: I do not have any background at work. Will this affect my CAT 2023 result?

A: The CAT results would not be affected by not getting job experience. However, it could have an effect on the final collection of IIMs as students with job experience get additional points during applicant shortlisting.

Q: What’s the validity of the CAT rankings? I have appeared for two straight years on the CAT test. For admission, may I use the highest score of the two?

A: No, since the CAT score is only valid for one year, you should not do so. The 2023 test score will only be valid for the 2023 academic year.

Q: When I was in the final year of graduation, I showed up at CAT. I had a backlog in my final semester. Will my CAT score be true anyway?

A: Your CAT score would be valid, but unless you clear the backlog, you will not be able to get admission into any B-School.

Q: If the minimum CAT cut-off is not clear, will I still be eligible for admission?

A: No, if you do not clear out the minimum CAT cut-off set by that particular institution, you would not be considered for entry to that institute.

Q: Am I going to be able to see my scale on my CAT scorecard?

A: Yes, along with sectional and overall percentiles, the scale score will be shown on the CAT scorecard.
