The Pravara Centre for Management Research & Development (PCMRD) is a private college approved by AICTE and affiliated with SavitribaiPhule Pune University (SPPU), Pune, which was established in 1980.

PCMRD provides students with affordable and high-quality education under PCMRD Admissions 2020 to inculcate human values in management education and research to enable graduates to effectively lead society in the merging, borderless world. In order to develop well-groomed management professionals, the college offers MBA programs in different specializations.

About the Foundation

The Dr.VikhePatil Foundation, Pune, is a Public Trust with Registration No. registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. E to 672(Pune).

It was established in 1980 in memory of Dr.VitthalraoVikhePatil, Padmashree, and a legendary figure in the history of cooperative enterprise, who pioneered the cooperative movement as a tool for the rural masses’ social, educational, and economic upliftment.

To understand visionary ideas, to raise awareness among small farmers and rural poor by spreading technical and non-technical education. The Dr.VikhePatil Foundation(PCMRD) focuses on quality education through schools/institutes and the students ‘ overall growth.

Program Objectives

Program Structure
This is a 2-year course split into 4 semesters. This is a full-time course affiliated with Pune University. Students pursue a summer project at the end of the first year fora duration of at least 50 days.

Eligibility

Passed in aggregate or equivalent CGPA with at least 50 percent marks,
45 percent in any Bachelor’s degree for candidates of backward class groups and people with disabilities belonging only to Maharashtra State)
A valid CAT/ CMAT/ MAH-MBA/ MMS-CET ranking.

PCMRD Student council:

A Student Council is a body of elected and nominated students who collaborate with a faculty advisor to provide a way of voicing and assisting students in the affairs and activities of the Institute.

It also acts as a forum where learners can explore and see practical things.
Management principles, such as leadership, preparation, teamwork, team work and many more, strengthen their skills

Placement:

PCMRD is taking the initiative to oversee the institute’s annual placement exercise.
It aims to help students find the job they are looking for and also helps businesses to carry out their recruiting processes.
We have a dedicated Selection & Training Officer who looks at the Industrial Training of students, Personality development, Selection, Campus Interview, etc.
We have an impressive track record of 100 % placement assistance.
To date, more than 75 percent of placements with the highest CTC of 5 LPA have been made this year.
The 2013-15 batch witnessed an average 82 percent placement.

PCMRD is proud to have a well-stocked library of books, journals, periodicals, with a large and good collection. PCMRD also has membership in online libraries such as EBSCO, Delnet, Jaykar Library, MCCI Library, and the British Library, both renowned and international.

Classrooms with the new teaching aids, such as LCD projector, computer, and audio system, are spacious and Wi-Fi-enabled.

Seminar halls

PCMRD also has a spacious lecture hall with audio-visual systems fitted with a seating capacity of approx. 250 people.
