VSB Engineering College : Ranks, Admission, Courses, Fees, Cut-off, Placements 

VSB Engineering College is a private, self-financing institution that was established in 2002 in Karur, Tamil Nadu. It is approved with a “B” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The College also got permitted by using the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

As an autonomous Institution, it provides 21 courses across 2 streams. The programs include BE/BTech, ME/MTech, and MBA.

TNEA/ TANCET/ GATE are among the various entrance exams accepted by the institution. 

The College has access to all basic facilities such as powerhouse, Wi-Fi, labs, auditorium, cafeteria, visitor house, seminar hall, smart classrooms, distinct hostels for boys and girls, and transport facilities such as buses.

VSB Engineering College Admission :

VSB Engineering College, abbreviated as VSBEC is a private engineering college which is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers degree programs majorly in engineering and technology. 

Admissions of 65% of the available seats are filled via a single-window counseling process and the remaining 35% are filled through the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Colleges of Tamil Nadu as per the guidelines issued by the State Government.

  • Admission to BE/ BTech is based on JEE Main scores followed by TNEA counseling. 
  • Candidates, who have finished Class 12 in the Science stream, can observe for UG programs

  • However, candidates with a valid JEE Main score are preferred. 
  • Candidates must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examinations with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together (40% for the reserved categories).

BE Lateral Entry :

  • Admission is based on merit as per marks obtained in the Pre-Final and Final semesters put together or Final year

Admission for BTech :

  • Candidates must be passed in the 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% (40% for BC/MBC/DNC and SC/ST) aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics put together.

Admission for ME/MTech :

  • Qualifying exam: TANCET
  • Candidates must have completed the BE/ BTech in the relevant stream from a recognized institute.

Admission for MBA :

  • Candidates need to score a valid mark in CAT/XAT/MAT entrance exams to procure a seat in MBA.

  • Candidates seeking admission in MCA programs must appear for the TANCET entrance test.

The candidates have to follow for TANCET and TNEA through the authentic portal only.

For TANCET :

  • For TANCET applications, the candidates need to register with a valid electronic mail ID, password, and other required credentials.
  • Fill the mandatory important points and upload the scanned copies of the passport dimension photograph and signature.
  • Proceed to pay the Application fee. The fee varies with each category, concessions are provided for the candidates belonging to reserved categories. 
  • The utility charge can be paid via Debit/ Credit cards or Net Banking.

For TNEA :

  • For TNEA application forms, the candidates need to click on the “register” tab on the domestic web page of the website.
  • After the profitable completion of the registration process, the candidates have to fill the personal and educational qualification details.

VSB Engineering College Cut-off 2024 :
