PSNACET College of Engineering and Technology (PSNACET) is a personal college that was hooked up in 1984 in Tamil Nadu. It is approved with an “A” grade by using the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. In 2006, the College got permitted by using the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

It provides UG and PG programs, which include MBA, MCA, ME, BE, and B. Tech. These guides are presented under four departments, specifically Engineering, Management Studies, Computer Applications, and Science and Humanities. Application process :

Mentioned below are the steps to apply in PSNACET : 

  • The candidates have to follow for TANCET and TNEA thru the authentic portal only.
  • For TANCET applications, the candidates want to register with a valid electronic mail ID, smartphone variety, and password.
  • Fill the mandatory important points and upload the scanned copies of the passport dimension graphic and signature.
  • Proceed to pay the utility fee. The application charge for General class candidates is INR five hundred (INR 250 for the reserved categories).
  • The utility charge can be paid via Debit/ Credit cards or Net Banking.
  • For TNEA application forms, the candidates need to click on the “register” tab on the domestic web page of the website.
  • After the profitable completion of the registration process, the candidates have to fill in the private important points and educational qualification details.

  • Class 10th mark sheet
  • Class 12th mark sheet
  • Transfer certificate issued by the school
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Nativity certificate
  • Relevant certificates for the children of Ex-servicemen/ freedom fighters.

For the offline mode of application, candidates can take the print out of the form, fill it accordingly and send it to the official address. 

PSNACET Placements :

The College affords placements beneath all UG and PG programs. It has a Training and Placement Cell that conducts placement drives every year for the students. In 2023, it had positioned more than 1,000 students with the participation of 87 companies.

PSNACET placements have viewed an improvement over the past three years. In 2021, only 906 college students bought placed in the course of campus placement, which has extended to 1,006 placed college students in 2022.

PSNACET Cut-off 2024 :

Candidates are given admissions to various UG & PG courses offered at the PSNA College of Engineering based on the cut-offs of the respective entrance tests required for qualification. 

Cut-offs are released professionally by the college authority category-wise. 

The reservation criteria issued by the Government of India and the state are also kept in mind. Other factors include :

  • The total number of applicants applying
  • The total seats available
  • The previous year’s TNEA or TANCET cutoffs.

The candidates that meet the criteria are only preferred for admissions.

Admissions for most of the programs are done based on merit, but for courses, namely :

  • B. Tech, and B. Arch, applicants are selected based on the cut-offs of TNEA
  • ME/MTech, MBA, and MCA Admission are based on TANCET cut-offs. 
  • For MTech, cut-off scores in the GATE entrance test is preferred. 
  • For MBA, Cut-offs of CAT/MAT/XAT exams are also considered. 

Similarly, candidates applying to any other course must qualify the cut-off to be eligible to get admission.
