Applicants looking for admission to postgraduate management programmes at Lucknow University are expected to apply via UPSEE 2024. The varsity will give admission to UPSEE 2024 entrance exam candidates who are eligible.
What is LUMET 2024?
LUMET 2024 is an entrance test at the varsity level held annually at Lucknow University for admission to MBA programmes. The varsity will give admission to the eligible candidates in the UPSEE 2024 admission test. Owing to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the dates of registration have seen several extensions. The UPSEE test was also postponed. Lucknow University offers management programmes in six separate fields for PG applicants.

Lucknow University offers MBA programmes in six different fields.

LUMET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
For applying to LUMET 2024 candidates must meet the eligibility criteria proposed by the University.
- The applicant must have completed his graduation from any university approved by the University Grants Commission in any stream with a 10 + 2 + 3 system.
- At the graduation level, the nominee must have received at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC / ST candidates).
- Candidates who will appear in the current year’s qualifying exam can apply for admission.
- But on the day of admission, they should meet all eligibility requirements.
- The University of Lucknow will advertise these seats on its website lkouniv.ac.in in case seats are vacant after the UPSEE 2024 counselling. In one of the following All India Tests for which the applicant has appeared in the last year, interested candidates may apply along with their scores.
- CAT (IIM Popular Entrance Test).
- AMAT (Management Admissions Targets test).
- XAT (Xavier Exam of Admission by XLRI).
- MAT (AIMA Test of Management Aptitude).
- Any other National Level Exam that the Admission Committee considers necessary.
LUMET 2024 Reservation Criteria
The advantage of the reservation will be given to the SC / ST / OBC candidates from Uttar Pradesh, while the category candidates from other states will be considered as general.

LUMET 2024 Admission Procedure
Step 1: Filling the Application form
The application form must be completed by applicants who can appear for the test. You should fill out the application form online and it has to be submitted before the deadline. Before filling out the questionnaire, applicants must make sure that they confirm their eligibility.
The registration fee is as follows:
For candidates belonging to the groups General and OBC: ₹ 2000
For candidates belonging to the group’s SC and ST: ₹ 1000
Candidates can elect to pay the fee either by Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net-bank.
Step 2: Downloading admit card
Candidates who succeed in registering for the exam will be granted access to LUMET 2024 admit cards. The same will be available online, and applicants can download it from Lucknow University’s official website. The nominee must have his / her registration number and password to enter the Hall ticket.
Step 3: Turn up for LUMET
The test will be carried out in offline mode. In Communication Capacity, Aptitude and logic, General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude, the questions will be asked. For incorrect responses, negative marking can occur.
Step 4: LUMET Result Search
The results of LUMET 2024 will be published online and candidates can review their scorecards by visiting Lucknow University’s official website. By entering the login ID and password, the results can be obtained.
Step 5: Personal Interview
For the interview to be qualified for the ultimate merit, applicants who have been in the entrance test must participate. The final candidate selection shall be carried out jointly based on the scores obtained in the entrance test and the results of the Personal Interview.
Step 6: Declaration of Merit List
A cumulative merit list of all applicants who submitted and appeared for the Personal Interview will be available in the departments concerned and on the official website of the university.
Step 7: Counselling
The counselling round must be attended by applicants who are shortlisted for entry to the MBA courses offered by the university. Applicants are expected to be present with the paperwork necessary for the counselling round in person.

LUMET 2024 Exam Pattern
The LUMET 2024 test will have a duration of 90 minutes. There will be a total of five sections having 20 questions each. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. There won’t be any negative marking for unattempted questions.
