What is JNU CET 2024?
JNU CET 2024 or Jaipur National University Common Entrance Test 2024 is a national level entrance exam conducted by Jaipur National University. JNU CET offers admissions to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Integrated, and Research programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Hotel Management, Law, Management, and Medical. JNU CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
All the candidates should meet the eligibility criteria proposed by the University for applying for the entrance exam. Course wise eligibility criteria are as follows,
FOR B.Tech/ B.Tech + MBA
Candidates should have completed 12th class education from a recognized institute with minimum 50% marks.There should be Physics and Mathematics as subjects.
FOR B.Sc/ B.Sc (Hons.)
Candidates should have passed 12th class exam in science stream. They should have a minimum 50% marks.
FOR BBA
Candidates should have passed 12th class exam in any stream. There should be a minimum 50% marks.
FOR B.Com
Candidates should have passed the 12th class exam in any stream with minimum of 45% marks.
FOR BCA
Candidates should have passed the 12th class exam in any stream with minimum of 48% marks.
FOR BHMCT/ BHMCT + MBA, BBA, BJMC (Journalism and Mass Communication), BA/ BA + MA/ BA + B.Ed and Bachelor of Fashion design
Candidates should have passed 12th class in any stream.
FOR B.Pharm/ B.Pharm + MBA
Candidates should have passed the 12th class exam with minimum 50% marks. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology are compulsory subjects.
FOR LLB
Candidates should have passed 12th class in any stream with minimum 45% marks.
FOR B.Ed
Candidates should have passed 12th class in any stream with minimum 50% marks.
FOR M.Tech
Candidates should have B.E or B.Tech degree in relevant stream with minimum 55% marks.
FOR MBA
Candidates should have any bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university. Candidates qualified national level entrance tests like CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ CET are directly eligible for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
FOR MCA
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as the main subject.
FOR M.Sc
Candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree in the science field.
FOR MJMC
Candidates should have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
FOR M.Pharm
Candidates should have completed B.Pharm with minimum of 50% marks.
FOR LLM
Candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree in the Law field with minimum of 50% marks.
FOR M.Ed
Candidates should have a B.Ed degree with minimum of 50% marks.
FOR MA & MSW
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any field with minimum 50% marks.
FOR PhD
Candidates should have a master’s degree in a relevant field.
JNU CET 2024 Application Process
Candidates can download the application form from the official website of the University. After filling the form it has to be sent with a DD of ₹1100 in the favour of Jaipur National University. It has to be payable at Jaipur.

JNU CET Exam Pattern
Since JNU CET 2024 offers admission to several courses, there are several papers. Course wise exam pattern is given below.
B.Tech
It is almost similar to the JEE Main exam. There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There is no negative marking.
M.Tech
There will be four papers
- General awareness + General English
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
There will be 25 marks in each papers i.e., 100 marks in total.
B.Pharm
It is similar to entrance for B.Tech but there will be an option for the candidates to chose Biology or Mathematics.
MBA/ PGDM/ MCA
There will be following papers
- General awareness
- Science (General)
- English (General)
- Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics
- Basic Computer Knowledge
Questions will be graduation level.
BHMCT, BA/ BA-LLB, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Des. Fashion Design
There will be following papers
- General Awareness
- Science/ Biology (General)
- English (General)
- Elementary Mathematics
- Basic Computer Knowledge
Questions will be 10+2 level
B.Ed / M.Ed
Graduation level questions will be asked. The papers are,

For all the streams question papers are same. There will be two sections (A & B).
- Section A
There will be 50 MCQs. Each question will carry one mark each. Questions will be based on General awareness, Science and English.
- Section B
This is also a 50 mark paper. This test the research aptitude of the candidates. Candidates will have to write a well detailed write-up on their research paper.
