Dr. D Y Patil Institute of management and research(DYPIMR) was founded in Pimpri, Pune, in 1994. It provides programs for MBA and MCA. The Institute, certified by the AICTE and DTE, is accredited by the NBA. It obtained ‘A’ grade accreditation from the NAAC, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.

It includes a Summer Internship Program (SIP) in which students have to undergo in-company realistic work experience preparation for two months in the MBA and six months in the MCA. It has state-of-the-art facilities and the Dr. D Y Patil Institute of management and research College has also developed a Centre for Innovation Incubation and Linkage for well-qualified, inspired, and committed faculty members. A valid MAH MCA CET 2024 score is given to candidates based on MCA entry.

Ph.D. admission is given based on the UGC NET 2024 score of the applicant.

An industrial tour is an effort to introduce students to the practical application of theoretical learning to the actual location of the factory, the architecture of the factory, and its operation. Summer Internship Programme(SIP)

As part of the MBA and MCA program at Dr. D Y Patil Institute of management and research(DYPIMR), students must undergo two months of practical work experience training in the business for MBA and 6 months for MCA respectively. The students are approved by the organization after completing the summer internship program. Students are now writing the Project Report under the guidance of faculty members. The project report will be presented to the Internal Experts team. Finally, the university appoints external experts to assess the function of the project by performing the students’ viva voice test. Project work is also a minor analysis of the student’s corporate issue research work.
