What is JKLU-MET 2024?

The JK Lakshmipat University Management Entry Test 2024 (JKLU-MET 2024) conducted by JK Lakshmipat University is a gateway to the Pinnacle MBA programmes offered by the University. The objective of the exam is to assess the candidate’s analytical reasoning, data adequacy, data interpretation, quantitative techniques, reading comprehension and vocabulary skills.

For admission to the Pinnacle MBA course, first preference is given to candidates with valid scores in CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT and ATMA.

However, candidates who have not taken part in any of these MBA entrance tests need to clear the JKLU MET Entrance Test 2024.

The application process for the JKLU MET Entry Test 2024 is currently underway. Interested candidates may register and fill out the application form available on the official website. The candidate will be informed of the date of the entrance test, the result and the personal interview round after the application form has been submitted.

Applicants will receive an invitation to the Personal Interview round based on the scores obtained in the entrance test. The final selection of candidates is based on the performance of both the entrance test and the GD-PI round.

The Pinnacle MBA programme classes will begin on August 17.

JKLU-MET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Citizens of India, as well as applicants of foreign origin, may apply for a management examination.

age limit

There is no age limit to be eligible for the exam.

Qualification for education

Participants must have a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3) with a minimum of 50 per cent mark (45 per cent for the SC / ST category) in any field from a recognised university/institute.

Applicants who have completed their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for an entrance test.

Preference will also be given to candidates with valid scores in CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT and ATMA.

JKLU-MET 2024 Admission Procedure

Step 1: Fill out the application form

Applicants wishing to appear for JKLUMET 2024 must fill out the application form. The same can be obtained both online and offline. Applicants must check their eligibility before filling out the form.

The application fee for JKLUMET is ₹ 1000 which is payable through any of the following modes:

  • Debit Cards
  • Draft Demand

Step 2: Download the JKLUMET 2024 Admission Card

Admission cards will be issued to candidates who successfully register for the exam. It should be noted that the JKLUMET Admission Card is an important document and that the same must be carried out in the Exam Hall. Candidates can download their admission cards from the official website.

Step 3: Appear on JKLUMET 2024

In the JKLUMET exam, candidates must solve 100 multiple-choice questions based on Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and data Interpretation (DI), English Language and logical Reasoning, Decision Making and General Knowledge.

Step 4: Check the result of JKLUMET 2024

The result of JKLUMET is generally declared within one month from the date of the examination and will be displayed on the official website. Applicants need to visit the official website and enter their login credentials to check the results.

Step 5: Discussion Group & Personal Interview

Qualified candidates will be called for GD and PI rounds. The final merit list of students shall be drawn up based on the scores obtained in the entrance test / national level, GD and PI.

Weightage of components for selection:

  • Written test – 70%
  • Group Discussion –10%
  • Interview – 20%

Step 6: Counselling

Once the GD and PI rounds are over, the officials will prepare a list of shortlisted candidates. Short-listed candidates will be required to attend a counselling session where the documents will be verified. It should be noted that the presence of the candidate in person at the time of counselling is important.

  • JKLUMET 2024 will be held at different locations across India.
  • Candidates will be given the option to choose their preferred examination centre at the time of completing the application form.
  • Candidates must ensure that they carefully choose their option because the option can not be modified later.
  • The address of the designated exam centre will be printed on the admission card.
  • Candidates must note that the Institute has the right to change the Exam Centre according to the availability of seats.
