The Institute is approved by means of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited via the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The Institute offers 10 courses such as BBA, B.Com, MBA, Executive MBA, MCA and PhD programmes across more than 6 streams in various specialisations.

ITM Group of Institutions Admission :

ITM Group of Institutions offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of Engineering, MBA, BBA, MSc, BSc, etc.

Admission into the institute is done on the basis of entrance exams and merit followed by a institute level counselling. 

Admissions to BBA, BCA and B.Com (Professional) are direct and subject to availability of seats.

ITM Group of Institutions

  • Rounds of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), are held before finally finishing the resolution process. Candidates are chosen after considering all of these factors and in accordance of the directive of the State Government that is issued from year to year. 
  • Candidates are selected based on the CMAT/ AIMA rating and overall performance in GDPI.

 

Admission for BBA and BCA :

The decision of getting a seat is primarily based on the merit of qualifying examinations and availability of seats in that unique course. Candidates ought to register online after ensuring the eligibility standards.

All candidates who have passed 10+2 examinations with 50% (45% for reserved categories) as minimum aggregate marks in any of the recognised streams are eligible for BBA admissions. 

For admission into BCA, candidates must have passed 10+2 pass with minimum 50% marks (For SC/ST minimum 45% is required) or equivalent CGPA. 

Admission for MBA, MCA and MCA (Lateral Entry) 

MBA aspirants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any UGC/AICTE recognized university/institution. Applicants must have secured  minimum 50% marks in graduation (45% for the applicants belonging to the reserved categories). 

Candidates seeking admission in MCA, must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. 

Candidates must also have Math/Stats/ Business/Stats/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the subjects at 10+2 or degree level Or BCA or PG diploma in computer science.

MCA (Lateral Entry) admission are based on BCA/ B.Sc degree in IT or Computer Science. Mathematics must be a compulsorily opted subject at 10+2 or degree and with minimum 50% marks (40% for reserved category candidates)

Admission into BA

Eligibility :

  • Passed Class 12 in any academic or vocational stream from a recognised board or equivalent examination recognised by the Senate of the University of Mumbai. 
  • Passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in streams of Science/ Arts Commerce. 

Admission to MA :

  • Film Television & New Media Production
  • Communication & Journalism

Eligibility :

Passed bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised institute/ university

 

Application process :

Admission into various courses at ITM Group of Institutions can be done by filling up the application forms that are available in the online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee. 

Steps for Online application :

  • Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling the mandatory Information in the admission tab.  
  • Fill the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of required documents. 
  • This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available. 
  • This is followed by submitting the application form. 

Steps for offline application :

  • For applying offline, the candidate needs to visit the college Admission Counsellor to fill the form, submit original documents and pay the fee.

ITM Group of Institutions has a placement cell with a success rate of about 70-80%. Students were recruited by top companies related to various sectors, including Banking and Insurance, IT & ITES, Financial Services, Consulting, FMCG and Manufacturing.

ITM Group of Institutions Cut-off :

Candidates are given admissions to various UG & PG courses offered at the ITM Group of Institutions on the basis of the cut-offs of the respective entrance tests or merit required for qualification. 

Cut-offs are released professionally by the college authority category-wise. 

The reservation criteria issued by the Government of India and the state are also kept in mind. Other factors include :

  • The total number of applicants applying
  • The total seats available
  • The previous year’s cutoffs.

The candidates that meet the criteria are only preferred for admissions.

Admissions for most of the programs is done on the basis of merit, but for courses, namely :

  • For MBA, the candidate’s Graduation degree marks or CAT/MAT/XAT scores are considered. 

Admission to other courses may be done on the basis of merit.
