DPU Entrance Test 2024 result has been announced on 21 July 2024.

What is the DPU Entrance Test 2024?

Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune conducts a common entrance test called the All India Online Proctor Based Entry Test (AIET) or commonly referred to as the DPU Entrance Test for admission to the MBA program. The AIET 2020 exam was conducted from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 12. The score sheet of the online trial is available on the official website.

Candidates with CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / ATMA scores may apply for admission to the MBA program without having to appear for AIET.

The MBA offered by the institution is a full-time program approved by AICTE.

DPU Entrance Test 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria proposed by the authority is given below. Before applying to the exam candidates should make sure they meet all of them.

  • Applicants must receive a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks in total or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university (45 percent marks for reserved category candidates)
  • Candidates in their final year or pending final year results are also required to apply.

Eligibility criteria for MBA Hospital and Healthcare Management

For MBA Hospital & Health Systems or Management Degree Courses Under Allied Health Sciences, either of the following courses should have been completed:

  • Medical – MBBS
  • Indian Medicine – BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BNYS, BUMS
  • Dentist-BDS
  • Allied Health Sciences – BSc (N), BPharm, BSc (MLT), BPT & BOT BSc

Eligibility criteria for MBA Agribusiness Management

  • Applicants must have received a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Agrochemicals, Dairy Science / Technology, Fisheries, Food Science / Technology, Forestry, Horticulture, or other discipline but have a deep interest and experience in Agribusiness or Graduate Work in Agribusiness, NGOs and Co-Operation.
  • Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree with a total of at least 50 percent marks (45 percent for Reserved Category Applicants)

DPU Entrance Test 2024 Admission Procedure

The admission process for MBA programs offered by Dr. D Y Patil Global Business School and the Research Centre involves five steps:

STEP 1: Application of DPU Entrance Test 2020

Application forms for DPU Entry Test 2020 are available online on the official website. Applicants can also buy the brochure cum application form from the University Office.

Step 2: DPU Entrance Test 2020

The DPU Entrance Test is divided into five sections-English Language, Numerical Skill, General Knowledge, Reasoning Test, and Business Judgment. The length of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Proctor-Based Test Admit Card will be available on the official website two weeks before the date of the exam.

Step 3: GD / PI

The GD / PI round for admission to the DPU MBA will be held at the respective admission test centers after the written test. The GD / PI round is expected to take place via video call this year.

Step 4: DPU Entrance Test 2020 Result

The outcome of the DPU Entrance Test 2020 will be posted on the official website. Test users can review their scores using login IDs. Post declaration of results, the merit list of qualified candidates will be released.

Step 5: Final admission selection

Candidates may be offered admission on the basis of their success in the written test and GD / PI. Applicants can confirm admission before the last date of selection.

EXAM GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES

  • Applicants must keep their Tab/laptop/desktop ready for the online proctored test at least one day before the test.
  • Applicants must have a computer system whose operating system is Windows 8 and above.
  • The bandwidth of Internet access must not be less than 1.5 Mbps for the glitch-free experience.
  • Check that the system has the latest browser installed on the system
  • Check if the desktop or laptop webcam is working perfectly. If it is not installed on the machine, make sure it is activated beforehand.
  • Keep an Admit Card and one more photo ID proof (authorized by the Government of India) ready for an online document identification operation.
  • Formally dress up for the exam
  • Ensure the room you’re in.

DPU Entrance Test 2024 Exam Pattern

DPU Entrance Test 2024 or AIET 2024 Exam Pattern is prescribed by DY Patil Vidyapeeth. It illustrates the structure of the test, the marking pattern, the sections and other important details. The entrance test will take place on 12 July in the Online Proctor Test Mode due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The length of the exam is 150 minutes and the candidates will have to solve 150 MCQs within that time.

There are a few things to bear in mind when writing the test:

  • Applicants may only use a black ballpoint pen to mark answers (answers) and all other entries.
  • Applicants must occupy their seats in the test hall at least 30 minutes before the start of the test.
  • Calculators and other computing devices, such as cell phone / pager, etc., are not permitted in the test space.
  • Candidates are unable to delete any page(s) from the Evaluation Booklet. If any page(s) is / are found missing from his / her Test Booklet, he / she will be convicted and liable for criminal prosecution.
  • Candidates can not leave the examination hall before the end of the test and without handing over the answer sheet and the test sheet.
