What is DHSGSU PGET 2024?

DHSGSU PGET 2024(Doctor Hari Singh Gour University PGET) is an entrance exam administered by Dr. HariSingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya and is a gateway to the various PG programs offered by the University. The entrance test grants admission to courses including MSc, MA, MCom, MBA, MJ, MLibISc, MSW, MPA (Theatre Art), MTech (Applied Geology), MPharm, MEd, MCA, LLM. DHSGSU is a central university located in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar city.

DHSGSU PGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

For admission to MA / MSc / MCom / MBA / MPharm / MTech(Applied Geology)/MCA / MPA (Performing Arts), the overall age limit as of 1 July 2024 is 27 years for General and OBC groups, while SC, ST, and PWD applicants are 32 years old.

For Masters of Journalism / MLibISc / LLM / MA in Rural Development / MA / MSc in Yogic Science, the maximum age limit (as of 1 July 2024) is 35 years for General and OBC categories, while it is 40 years for SC, ST and PWD categories.

There will be no age bar to serve Defense personnel who have been approved to research leave.

Academic Qualification

MSc / MA / MCom / MBA / MJ / MSW / MPA (Theatre Arts)/MTech (Applied Geology): must have reached a graduation with 45 per cent (General and OBC categories) or equivalent CGPA. Relaxation of 5% will be granted to SC, ST, and PWD categories.

Pharm

B.Pharm graduation with 55% or equivalent CGPA and clear GPAT / GATE score.

Relaxation of 5 percent marks in the qualifying examination will be provided to candidates in the SC / ST / PWD categories.

Candidates should have registered with the respective State Pharmacy Council or should have received the same within 2 months from the date of admission unless the admission is canceled automatically.

Applicants must be graduated with a 50 percent mark or equivalent CGPA in either discipline.

Relaxation of 5 percent marks in the qualifying examination will be provided to candidates in the SC, ST, and PWD categories.

Must have learned mathematics at a stage of 10 + 2.

Applicants must have completed a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB with a mark of 50 percent or equivalent CGPA. Relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks will be provided to candidates in the SC, ST, and PWD categories.

DHSGSU PGET 2024 Admission Procedure

Step 1: Fill out the application form

Applicants willing to appear for DHSGSU PGET 2024 must fill out the application form. Candidates of the General / OBC and PWD categories are ₹ 400 for SC and ST candidates. The fee can be charged in the online mode.

Step 2: Download the DHSGSU PGET 2024 Admission Card

Candidates who have successfully completed the exam need to download the admittance card candidates from the official website. Officials did not submit the admission cards to the candidates by mail. The ticket to the hall must be kept secure until the entire admission process is completed.

Step 3: Appearance for DHSGSU PGET 2024

The DHSGSU PGET 2024 exam was run for 2 hours, and the candidates had to answer 100 multiple-choice questions in a given period. The concerns were about the graduation standard. The complete test marks were 200.

Step 4: Review the results of DHSGSU PGET 2024

The DHSGSU PGET 2024 result is usually announced within one month from the date of the test. Candidates can check their results online, where the merit list will be displayed. The merit list shall be drawn up on the basis of the marks earned by the candidates.

Step 5: Counselling

After a merit list of students has been prepared, a therapy session will be held. Here, candidates need to have their papers checked. It is necessary for the applicant to be present for therapy in person.

DHSGSU PGET 2024 has been conducted in 19 cities across the country. Applicants had to select their favorite test center when filling out the application form.

Candidates must remember that if the number of students in any centre is less than 50, the University can move the candidates to another nearest centre.
